Who the heck is Susan Kaplan?

Over the past couple months my wife and I noticed that my son was attributing his books, and occasionally songs, to someone named Susan Kaplan (see for example the audio clip above). 

Then we realized - Susan Kaplan is the local host for “All Things Considered” on New England Public Radio, our local NPR station. If you listen to the clip above, he even sounds like he has that NPR cadence, like he’s reading her name on the air.

Yes, my three year old is already a public radio geek like his dad.
