This is an informal get together for anyone who is interested in chatting about issues like:
- “Right to Record” issues impacting journalists work, and the Department of Justice’s recent actions in this area.
- Internet policies that impact reporters and data journalists like SOPA, PIPA and Net Neutrality.
- Journalist arrests and data security, especially while covering protests and conflict areas.
Other policy issues relevant to investigative journalists like FOIA, Anti-SLAPP legislation, etc…
